WEEBLY REVIEW

I found the weebly site easy to use. There are many different templates already made for you to choose from. You can also choose to create your own website from scratch and design it how you like. I chose to use a template already made. I found it quite easy to change the images and setup of my website. Overall the website is very easy to use and is a good tool to have for things like promoting your work, or just simply sharing your thoughts with others. It's also just really cool.

My personal experience with weebly is a little bit different. Yes I found the site easy to use, but, I simply don't have anything to make a website about. I did struggle with trying to fill the spaces provided to me and trying to find a theme I wanted to go with. My advice would be if you don't have a specific thing to make a website about, just make it about something you enjoy talking about. It will make your creating of the site a little easier and more enjoyable.

Also check out my weebly. It's pretty dope.

Moovly Experience

Honestly, when I first opened the moovly website, I had no idea what was going on. I also chose not to read the tour/tutorial. At the beginning of my journey with moovly, I was frustrated and disappointed because I had such a hard time trying to put even one set of words in the right spot, let alone try to make it interesting and fun. After I got my basic information down, I figured out that

THE BOTTOM BAR IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING!!!!

You can imagine how stupid I felt after finally discovering that in the bottom tab/bar thing, you could adjust length of slide, actions to indtroduce your slide, the order, etc. But hey, that's my life.

Overall I like moovly. Now that I know how to use it, I think I could see myself using it in the future for a more creative, fun presentation.

Make sure you check out my moovly I created.

Piracy, good or bad?

Piracy, good or bad? Obviously piracy isn't a good thing because millions of people scam companies out of their profits everyday by illegally downloading movies/music. But also, I mean, good for everyone who gets away with it because, lets be real for a second...

NO ONE WANTS TO PAY $1.67 FOR ONE FREAKING SONG THEY ARE PROBABLY GOING TO BE SICK OF IN A FEW WEEKS!!!!!!

So I understand why almost everyone scams the big productions out of money for a few songs... BUT. I'm not saying I agree with piracy because although its a good way to save a few bucks, it is overall very illegal and a tad unethical. An example of piracy would be if Jane produced a song and 15 different labels wanted to produce it. Jane chose which label she wanted to be represented by and they started to produce her. What Jane did not know though, was that an internet hacker guy named Helger, made a website that could download Jane's music illegally. Now Jane is out a lot of profits. Poor Jane.

Thursday 2 February 2017

This year in ICT, I would like to learn how to use certain computer programs that I may not have been exposed to in the past. There are Microsoft programs that I have no experience with and would like to learn how to use for future projects or assignments I may have in University/College. My teacher mentioned that this year we will be doing some digital film making and editing which I think will be such a fun experience and I'm very excited to create my very own short film. Hopefully it won't be a flop.
Having this blog is going to be a great way to organize me ideas, and work on some of my typing. I'm stoked to share my thoughts in this format with anyone who cares to read my blog.
